Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is the third installment in Call of Duty's Modern Warfare franchise, a direct sequel to 2009's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the eighth Call of Duty installment and the next game released after Call Of Duty: Black Ops.
Overview[]
MW3 has 3 game modes – Campaign, Spec-Ops and Multiplayer.
The campaign picks up hours after Modern Warfare 2 left off. You play as various characters throughout the campaign, most of who are introduced in MW3, from front line special American Forces to assisting ex-SAS captain; Cpt. John Price hunting down his foe. Weather its helicopters falling out of the sky or buildings coming down right in front of you, there is something epic around every corner.
Modern Warfare 3’s Spec-Op mode includes Spec-Op Missions, like its predecessor Modern Warfare 2, however MW3 also has the option of survival mode. Survival mode is similar to Zombies from Call of Duty Black Ops however unlike in Zombies, you are fighting wave after wave of soldiers and helicopters, which get progressively harder. Spec-Ops missions differ little from those in Modern Warfare 2. However unlike having 69 stars, there are only 48 in MW3.
It is debatable that Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer has set the new bench mark for any FPS multiplayer games to come. Its new kill streak reward system makes it stand out from similar video games and hold and raise many gamers' expectations of the Series.
